KINS’ GREEN - HSS saw blades

KINS’ GREEN saw blades are made from European quality high-speed steel (HSS) and are typically used for low tensile and sub-range medium tensile applications, characterized by lower cutting speeds and wall thicknesses. The HSS saw blades provide resistance to heat generated during the cutting process. This results in longer blade life and reduced downtime for blade replacement. HSS saw blades are commonly used for cutting steel bars, tubes, pipes, and other steel products in industries such as metal fabrication, construction, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and more. The HSS saw blades are typically re-sharpenable up to 15 times, even with damaged teeth.

The coatings of our KINS’ GREEN saw blades, such as TiCN (Titanium CarboNitride) or TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride), are composed to enhance hardness, reduce friction, and improve your overall cutting performance. While coated HSS saw blades may have a higher initial cost than uncoated saw blades, their durability and cutting efficiency make them cost-effective over the long term in most use cases, particularly in industrial environments.

The KINS' GREEN range includes specialized saw blades and, depending on your application, gives the most optimal performance.

  • KINS' GREEN Performance – Saw blade for high-performance automatic sawing machines cutting low to medium tensile carbon steel tubes, ensuring efficient and reliable performance with high throughput.
  • KINS' GREEN Stabilizer – Designed to enhance stability when cutting unstable or thin-walled tubes and profiles, reducing vibrations and improving cut quality.
  • KINS' GREEN Universal – A multi-purpose saw blade suitable for a wide range of (stainless) steel applications, offering flexibility and durability.
  • KINS' GREEN Stainless Performance – Engineered for high-performance cutting of stainless steel tubes, reducing side pick-up and designed to perform best on the high-end automatic sawing machine.
  • KINS' GREEN Stainless Stabilizer – Optimized for cutting stainless steel while minimizing vibrations, either caused by machine, product geometry, or clamping issues, improving both blade life and surface finish.
  • KINS' GREEN Vapor – The standard saw blade for all carbon- and non-alloyed tool steel on manual and semi-automatic sawing machines

THE Advantages OF KINS' GREEN HSS SAW BLADES

HSS saw blades are commonly employed in industries like steel production, pipe manufacturing, and other downstream applications. The HSS blades can be resharpened inhouse at KINKELDER or at local grinding shops. Check the best saw blade for your application with our blade selector or ask our experts.

  • Material composition

HSS saw blades are made from a type of tool steel known as high-speed steel, which is produced by quality European manufacturers for consistency and security of supply. The alloying elements contribute to the blades' hardness, heat resistance, and wear resistance. KINKELDER manufactures its HSS blades using dedicated machines, securing quality and durability in-house.

  • Durability

HSS saw blades are highly durable and can withstand the rigors of cutting harder materials supported by PVD coatings. This durability is crucial for maintaining cutting performance and extending blade life.

  • Heat Resistance

Our KINS’ GREEN HSS blades exhibit excellent heat resistance due to their steel composition and coating provided. This is particularly important when cutting materials that generate heat during the cutting process.

  • Tooth forms

HSS saw blades come in various tooth forms, which are optimized for blade size, thickness, applications, and materials to optimize the cutting performance.

  • Cutting speed

One of the primary advantages of KINS’ GREEN HSS saw blades is their ability to cut at higher speeds up to 200 m/min, depending on the type of material to be cut.
